Almost Down

A few years ago I was in the market for new bedding. I didn’t know much about down but I had heard enough to know that there is some serious cruelty involved in getting the feathers. I had always been under the impression that real down was better than down alternative in terms of comfort, but I figured it was worth it to give down alternative a shot.

At Macy’s I hit the jackpot! I bought Calvin Klein “almost down” comforters and pillows. They are fantastic! They keep you warm and cozy in the winter and cool and comfortable in the summer. They are luxurious, so comfortable, cruelty-free, and generally cheaper than their real down counterparts. Gotta love that! 🙂

I was so wrong to assume that down products are always better quality than down alternative products! I highly recommend this bedding to anyone in need of a new comforter or pillows. Even if you aren’t interested in the animal welfare component here, this is just great bedding. Simple as that.
