Cabbage & Bok Choy Stir Fry

Bok Choy Sometimes the simplest ingredients make the most delicious meals. This cabbage & bok choy stir fry recipe is a perfect example. I originally received this recipe from my family friend Diane and I cannot get enough of it. It’s so easy to make and it’s great to make a lot so that you have leftovers the next day.

I think it’s a perfect Meatless Monday dinner for all you busy people out there.

You can eat this one plain as it is or serve it over rice. Over rice is my favorite way to eat it.

This recipe calls for tamari sauce, which is a gluten-free soy sauce so it’s perfect for all of you on gluten-free diets.

Cabbage & Bok Choy Stir Fry

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch bok choy (or a few bunches of baby bok choy)
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Tamari sauce (to taste)
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Chop bok choy and cabbage into large pieces.
  2. In a medium or large pan over medium heat sauté garlic, cabbage and bok choy in olive oil until bok choy starts to wilt.
  3. Add sesame seeds and tamari to taste.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
