When I tell you I walk everywhere in this city, I literally mean everywhere. (My friends and family that are reading this are definitely thinking, “She’s not joking. Girl walks around that city like a machine.”) 🙂 And the reason I walk so much here is because not only is it often the most reliable way to get around, but it also means I get to stroll through NYC’s vastly different neighborhoods en route to my destination, which I love to do.
And while New York is all things fashionable and cool, and while I do love myself a good pump, because of all the walking, cool sneakers are an absolute must for me here. So, needless to say I’ve gotten pretty good at finding sneakers that not only look good but are leather-free too.
Earlier this week I ventured over to Bloomingdale’s in Soho (walked there obviously 😉 ) to take a look and see what leather-free sneakers I could find. Not only did I find some, I found a bunch! The trend towards vegan-friendly goods continues to be on the up and up, which makes me so happy. And since I was on such a roll finding leather-free sneakers for women, I decided to keep the post going and include a roundup of my favorite men’s sneakers too.
