I remember when it first clicked for me. “Wait a minute…if I care about animals, and I don’t need to contribute to their suffering…why am I?!”
This was the moment when I started to realize that we use animals in so many more ways than we think about…
There are birds in my bedding and pillows?! (feathers)
There are ducks and geese in my couch and my winter jackets?! (more feathers)
There are cows in my shoes and even in my toothpaste, and crayons too?! (leather, glycerin and stearic acid – aka beef fat)
There are sheep in my sweaters? (wool)
And my products are tested on animals?! (rabbits, cats, dogs, monkeys and so many more)
It was such a turning point in my life when I started to realize this.
That’s why I love using social media to share the things I share. I’m not here to force anyone to live like I do. I’m just here to show you the brands I’ve found that make it easier for me to live a life that is more cruelty-free and kinder to animals…because maybe you’ll like some of those products too, and then more and more of us are supporting brands that do not support animal cruelty. And in the long run, saving more animals from being brought into this world only to suffer for our sake.
And that’s why I’ve been wearing Noize for five years. Winterwear often includes many of the animal products listed above. Leather from cows and calves, down feathers from birds, wool from sheep, and fur from rabbits and coyotes. Noize uses none of those animal products, and a super warm sustainable fill made from recycled materials instead. ♻️
Their jackets, coats, puffers and parkas are so warm you’d never know there’s anything different about them from the traditional down jacket, but there is so much that is different. With their warm, functional and cute outerwear, this brand is making a huge difference in the number of people choosing to shop cruelty-free.
So if you’re ready to make a change in your winterwear you can use my code TEDI20 for a discount on all the vegan and cruelty-free apparel and outerwear on the Noize site to make your life a little more vegan and cruelty-free this winter.
The extra soft and warm style I’m wearing in these photos is the Marina (in rose).
Below are my top picks for vegan winter jackets, coats, puffers and parkas this season, but they have many more styles and colors on the Noize site so be sure to check those out too. And the TEDI20 code works on all of them.
The jeans I’m wearing in this post are linked here.
