How to Make a Flax Egg

Flax eggs are an egg replacement, commonly used in baking dishes to make them vegan.

What You'll Need

Ground flaxseed,  warm water,  a measuring spoon + small bowl or cup. That's it!

1 TBSP flaxseed +  3 TBSP warm water =  1 flax egg

How to Make the Flax Egg

In a small bowl or cup combine flaxseed and water. Let sit for 10 minutes. Add to baking recipe as you would a regular egg.

Binding Agent

As the mixture sits, it becomes a binding agent. Eggs are typically used as the binder in baking recipes, so this can be used instead.
